Any suggestions for in-wall cabling?

I am going to build in our new house a multi-zone system, but a pretty basic one. Simply put, I am going to run stereo audio, composite video, and speaker cabling to all rooms. The speaker cables will be run off of amps from the processor, to the wall, then on to the next room through the attic.
I am planning on using high quality RG6 cabling to make the long video and audio runs. Not particulary worried about the sound quality in other rooms, because mostly there will be a lot of ambient and other noise in other zones.
Am I okay running RG6? I will probably run Monster Z2 Reference cables in my walls, as i can get MC stuff on accomodation.
Any suggestions? HELP!
* I don't think any run will be more than 50 feet. most will be under 30. Video will run into the wall, to the attic, through a multi-zone audio and video distribution hub, then back out to respective outlets. speaker will be direct.

Unfortunately, there are not many manufacturers who have focused any attention towards a high quality in-wall. Another important consideration is shielding because of the length of the runs.

Also, if you are interested in conforming to National building codes, (BOCA, Building Official Code Administration) you must use a wire with a CL3 certification.

Lat International offers a 2 wire and 4 wire version of their in-wall speaker cable. It meets all of the above mentioned criteria and is reasonably priced @ $99.00 per 100ft roll for the 2 wire, $156.00 per 100ft roll of the 4 wire (Bi-wire) .

LAT makes a very good quality product for the money. It is probably one of the best wires available for your application.

You can look up LAT in the "manufacturers list". on the Audiogon home page. Click on "speaker wire" and look under "SS in-wall".

Best of luck, Ed.
i just asked the same questions and here is the answers that I received:
use a 4 cond. speaker cable by parts express (partsexpress.com) it is built for high quality audio in-wall installations. it is also very inexpensive ($63/100')
as for the RG-6, i bought a quad shielded cable also from parts express that is suppose to offer much better sheilding for video signals
parts express was very easy to deal with and items arrived in a few days.
good luck.
also, while your walls are open you should run some conduit just about everywhere you can. This is for future considerations, ever perhaps for fiber optics.

If you run some of your cables through the conduit you can always pull it out and substitute as you like.
