It is very smooth yet detailed and very musical. Michael Elliot founder of Counterpoint does services all Counterpoint equipment.
jimtreanorc21a Details Discussions Posts This discussion Message User 9 posts 09-01-2000 at 06:40pm Copy Comment URL Report Comment Edit Delete Just found a brand-new-in-box DA-10 with the standard AD card (not the Ultra Analog) right here on Audiogon a couple of weeks ago and like Alruhl am awaiting Mike Elliott's Rapture 24/96 upgrade (a user plug-in). I also have an Elliott-modified Counterpoint preamp and amp. Very solid gear throughout. Its upgradability and repair service availability (I haven't had to use it, and my electronics run 24/7) through Elliott's AltaVista Audio is a major plus.
