Power Cords for Hydra Conditioners?

I'm interested to know what cords are being used by Hydra conditioner owners to feed their Hydras?

I own a Hydra 2 that has been fed by an ErnieM 11 gauge cord and is now fed with a Revelation Audio Labs Precept cord (on an audition basis).

Please mention which Hydra you own and which cords you've tried.

On a more basic level, I'm wondering how important the cord is that feeds the conditioner, considering the conditioner cleans up the AC anyway? It would seem logical that the only requirements be unrestricted power transfer and perhaps shielding.

Thoughts?

Rbirke, and Gfroman thanks for your comments. It's interesting how folks utilize power cords from complete opposite ends of the price spectrum to power their Hydra conditioners.

I'm still experimenting, but in the application of powering the conditioner, I have not noticed significant differences between an excellent DIY cord, and two cords in the $700 range.
I used a TG 688 for my Hydra 8 for a while (I still have it sitting in a drawer, I should probably sell it some time) & was very happy with it. I have since upgraded to an Anaconda Alpha & found that the bass is tighter, but the 688 is quite fine, with a real sense of ease & refinement.
Rgs92, I have several TG Audio 688 cords in my system, and find myself going back to them time and again time after experimenting with uber-expensive cords. The TG Audio cords are like comfortable old shoes. They just let the music flow and allow me to listen without scrutinizing every last aspect of the sound.
Thought I'd update this. I'm presently using an Electraglide Epiphany on my Hydra 2 that powers my VAC amp and First Sound preamp. The VAC and First Sound are being fed by TG Audio SLVR cords.
I'm running VH Audio Flavor 4 Golds on my Hydra 2 with my pre-amp and CD player. I am moving to a Hydra 4 or 6 soon and will most likely stick with the VH Audio cords.
