Have you considered going the integrated amp route?? If so, Sonus Faber makes a BEAUTIFUL integrated called the Musica which would match the Electa Amators perfectly. I believe it lists for around $3000 new. Check it out on the SF website ... It is worth buying on looks alone!!
I have a pair of Sonus Faber Extremas. I audtioned amps quite a bit and I found Classe Audio to be the best match by far. Nothing even came close to the classe.
I recently purchased the Sonus faber Concertos, and have paired them with a McCormack DNA 0.5 Deluxe and Anthem Pre 1 tube pre-amp with NOS Valvo tubes. The sound is absolutely beautiful. The McCormack DNA 0.5 and 1 Deluxe models can be found on this site at good prices. Wonderful, highly rated, excellent build quality - audition the McCormack.
Sonus Faber prefer solid state amps....fast solid state I'd recommend Spectral or the best Goldmund....even a small one...will be perfect. Enjoy it
You need high quality solid states to drive big magnetics in EA. Being both physically superior(Esotar tweetor..) and well tuned in singing music, it tends to pay back as much as you invest in source and amplication. I recommand Spectral dma-150 or Pass monos.
