Thiel 2.2 power amp match?

I have Thiel 3.6s. Thiels can be a little difficult to drive. I'm using a McCormack DNA-1 Deluxe with them and have been very happy. I recently had it upgraded by SMc Audio to Revision A Gold and it has made a tremendous difference. You can pick up a used one for about $1200 and I think it will work real well for you. You always have the option of having it upgraded in the future.

LOOK FOR ANY CLASSE AMP YOU CAN AFFORD! THEY MATCH WELL W/ THIEL!! WHY DO YOU ALWAYS SEE A THIEL/CLASSE/AUDIO RESEARCH COMBO AT ALL THE SHOWS? CAUSE THEY SOUND GREAT TOGETHER. ALSO GET MIT CABLES TO CUT DOWN ON HIGHS. GOOD LUCK!

I have Thiel 2.3's using a CJ Premier 11A and wanted more power.I borrowed a CJ MF2500 from my dealer and it made those babies sing.I was absolutely blown away by the depth of the soundstage and the bass reproduction.I also agree with Rsa on the MIT cables.I recently bought a pair and what a difference.Definitely toned down the highs and tightened up the bass a little.Good listening. a good tube amp will tone them down a bit as will mit cables
