A sub to go with kef ls 50 speakers

Hi,I'm getting good results with my ls 50 monitors. Can you recommend a fabulous sub,to compliment this set up,please.

You should try the NHT B12d. I found it the most musical sub I've ever heard. It's not ported and won't slam like a sub for home theater that's ported will, however if your using it primarily for music there amazing. Well worth a listen.

What is the size of your room? Do you want sealed, ported, or either? For music, movies, or both? For music in a small to medium size room (up to say 14' X 20' or so), a single Rythmik F15 would be great, or a pair of F12's (or F15's). For movies as well, and/or a larger room, Rythmik also makes comparable ported models with slightly larger dimensions and higher output above tuning.

All Rythmik subs feature high-quality woofers driven by plate amps incorporating designer Brian Ding's patented Direct Servo-Feedback circuitry, and sound excellent. The monitor system at the well-known mastering facility Sterling Sound includes a pair of F15's, and they can afford any subs they want!
LS50 does not integrate well with subwoofer. You'll need to cross over at like 100hz and then the quality of the sub simply can not keep up with the world class LS50.

Cost me a lot of money to learn this.. I'd suggest selling the LS50 and get the KEF floorstanders if you like the KEF sound.
Awesome. The ls 50 puts out an incredible sound for the size of them.Iam using them in a fairly large room. Some recordings really do go 3d.I was hoping to get a bit more from them. Thanks Coli
