Is the Musical Fidelity Nu-vista M3 outdated

I've always wanted a Musical Fidelity Nu-vista M3 integrated amp ever since Michael Fremer's review, and I was wondering if these still hold there own or if I would be better off with something newer. They would be driving Scorpio II. Opinions please.

Good sound is good sound then or now. But it will be a gamble as far as the synergy with your speakers and other gear. No synergy = sub par sound. Synergy = beautiful sound.
If its in good condition and selling for the right price, no reason to look elsewhere that I can see.
its still an awesome amp. if you can, returun it to mufi for their fine tuning program, it is worth the money and then some. i did this with both my M3 and my kw500 and was very pleased.
I have owned the Nu-Vista 300 poweramp. I also modified it later. I sold them and I gave MF presentations at shows. MF is a good brand. But.......compared to a brand like Pass Labs it lacks some essential parts which need to be there for the absolute sound. For the price you pay you cannot go wrong. Lot's of power and a very musical sound. In depth it is not the best.
Great amp. I owned one for a couple of years and was very happy. Only concern may be a somewhat softer bass when compared to other amps. This was apparent when I moved from Angstrom Obligatto speakers to the Von Schwiekert (sp?)VR5HSE. Depending on your speaker this may not be an issue. Also owned MF A1, P180/P182, A308 pre, A308CD.
