Power Chords better than TWL at the price?

Hi everyone

I am currently maximizing my system through speaker placements, room acoustics, vibration control, etc. before I consider upgrading any equipment. I have made huge progress with Clear Day speaker cables and Stillpoint Ultra SS footers - it sounds like a new system. So, the next move is to upgrade the power cords on my Oppo 105 and Exposure 2010s2 integrated. Currently, I have a Blue Heaven PC on the integrated and a Pangea AC14SE on the Oppo.

So, I've been looking at the Triode Wire Labs (7+ for the amp and 10+ for the Oppo). I haven't been able to find anything in their price range (400-600 ea for 2m) that has gotten such consistently high marks.

If you think there is something out there that is notably better, please let me know!

Thanks for your time,
Scott

I have a Triode Wire Labs 8+ and I think it's a very good addition to my Yamaha AS2000 integrated. Since you're "looking" at power cords, Triode has a 30 day policy, so you can try them in your system to learn if you like the sound of your speakers with them in place. I don't know if there are any "notably" better cords out there, but I've tried plenty of different brands up to about $1000 used.
I have tried anti cable level 3 and am now looking to sell my other power cables. You must try them and you won't be sorry. I have them on entire system and they ARE system changing power cords. They do take a long time to break in but are well worth the wait!!!! bigdog58
I highly recommend the entry level cable (MKIII) from Waveform, previously Kaplan Cable, for your integrated. List is $529.

Makes each instrument sound lifelike.
I agree with Foster_9 about Triode Wire Labs... They are fantastic cables that compete with those at virtually any price. I have switched to them in most of my system ( and am still underway doing so for the rest of it). They "add blackness" ( which sounds like an oxymoron!) as well as a truly natural and likelike tone and texture. I'm currently using an "8" for my digital power conditioner ( an Uberbuss) and a "10" out of that into my Oppo BDP 105.... Once you have experienced a TWL in your system you won't take it out. BTW Pete's a GREAT guy to deal with as well. Truly a win-win. Enjoy.
The 30 day trial period is a big plus with TWL, because you just never know what will and what won't work with any given component. Too may instances where someone's dream cable for their amp doesn't sound good in another location, or in another system.

That being said, the TWL cables do indeed sound good in every location I've tried, which I cannot say for any other cable I've owned in the past.

Pete has a great product and does indeed provide value and excellent customer service at a very reasonable price.
