roland 501's vs ps audio gcc 500

has anyone heard these or compared the 2. I am looking into getting a class d amp for a second system and would love any feedback. I just found a pair of kef 104.2 (bi wire version) which were my first pair of speakers when I was 13 so I want to try something fun to go with them. Any help would be much appreciated.

One of the advantages of the JRDG 201 and 501 monos is that they accept the external JRDG PC1 power factor correction and rectifier units. These add on devices -- that you can add later on -- are said to bring the performance of these two amps much closer to that of the Continuum 500 and 312 amps. G.

if I understand correctly you mean the Continuum 500's performance is better than the performance of the combi Capri+ 2 monoblocs 501 ... ?

this combi being more expensive than the Continuum??
Clavis, as far as I know, the answer is yes. Continuum 500 is equivalent to 501 + Capri + 1500W PFC + additional bulk capacitance. Guido
