Pairing with Vienna Acoustics Hadyn Grand&Rel B3?

I currently have a Denon 2808ci powering Vienna Hadyn Grands for left/right, a Viena Maestro for center channel and some polk in ceiling speakers for Left and Right Surround. I also have a a REL B3 connected via the high cable to the L/R posts on the Denon for 2 channel and RCA connection to the subwoofer output for HT. As you can see I do pure music listening and also some HT in the same room.

I'd like to get an amp that better drives the Hadyn's which I understand are quite thirsty. I also was thinking I would use the Denon as the preamp as I have a lot of inputs into the denon - ie Ipod Doc, Sat Radio, CD player, Sony PS3 (for games and blue ray), and hopefully soon a turntable. So - any suggestions for an AMP that would compliment my system? I am about 70 Percent Music 30 Percent HT. Thank you.

Danlalane, Vienna speakers like amps with a high damping factor, lest they can bee boomy. Try a pair of Bel Canto Ref 500 monos, or Jeff Rowland (JRDG) 201 monos.

Not sure why pair of mono's as oppose to a 2 channel? Do mono's inherently have a high damping factor?

No, monos have no inherent high damping factor. They simply yield greater channel separation. The particular amps I am suggesting are also rather compact. The class D technology in these amps does though. If you prefer stereo amp configurations, try Bel canto Ref 500S:

Guido- et al. A friend of mine also has a REL and recently has been experiencing some feedback issues. He called REL to discuss and they said he needed to pair his B2 with a Class A or B amp and not D, which he is currently using. The explanation was a class D was not grounded and because of this could severly damage the subwoofer. Does this sound accurate? I ask because the amps you are suggesting are in fact class D and I don't want to ruin my sub as well.
