receptacles

Hi I'm really confused about which receptacle to use. I want clarity, not thin and not warm. I tried Furutech GTX-D R was not too happy its was burned in for 50 hours. Then i went for wattgate Rhodium did like that too i ran it for 50 hours. then i used PS audio i liked it but I'm still burning it in. I want something that will be really clear and above and beyond. I heard about the R! would that be the solution to my problem. Thanks

Others may disagree, but from a technical standpoint I see no reason to expect the effects, if any, that an outlet may have on clarity, warmth, or other sonic characteristics to be consistent or predictable among different equipment and systems. Or even among different locations, due to the differences that can be expected in the voltage and other characteristics of the incoming AC.

Deepak007,

I would suggest you post your message on Tweakers' Asylum.

You will need to register if you are not now a registered Audio Asylum inmate.

When you register you should list what country you live in.
Yes that will make a difference for responses you may get. The receptacle is designed and manufactured to be connected to 120V nominal AC power.
It will also help to know what audio equipment/manufacture you are connecting to the receptacle/s to.

You said you burned in the receptacles you have tried thus far 50 hours. 50 hours of what kind of a load? A 25 watt CDP load for 50 hours, or a 4 to 6 or more amp consistent load like a dehumidifier or refrigerator load? It makes a big difference when burning in an audio grade receptacle. Especially when you consider the money you spent for it.

What is the "problem" that you're trying to correct? What equipment are you using other than these special receptacles?
