I own a new (Spring 2010) pair of Magnepan 3.6s.
I did my research and your Classe' are a very good choice.
(I would have auditioned the Classe' but my dealer did not have any in stock to audition.(the economy)and would order them, but no return, where the Bryston I could audition, and return if I did not like it. I liked the Bryston.
Other good well recommended amps for Maggies are:
Bryson (I bought a Bryston 4B-SST2 new)
Classe'

And, why do you not purchase the amps and use them on your current speakers?
Anyway, If you cannot use them on your current speakers.. any amp sitting for a year is probably just fine. When you first plug the amps in after they sit a long TIME, turn them on for just a moment. Then off. Leave them off for a day. Afterwards, they should be fine. Doing that helps reform the caps after a lot period of non-use
PS You can turn them on with nothing connected, just plug them in and turn on once each three months, for a few minutes. that will do just fine. As long as the caps stay 'formed' (the electricity does this just because it is electricity, and it lasts for many months)
