Hope my Krell 700cx is benign to the Ayon issues with amps,interesting thread,If issues occur I will get rid of AYON alltogether,defiently not any thing else I have.

On a whim, I dug out the Wavelink HS box and hooked my MBA to the USB port and gave the Ayon's PCM1704UK DAC a whirl.

Hi DH, thanks for the f/b on the CD-5s' dac. It is a really good dac imho (essentially a Skylla 2 with an extra psu and transport).

Im sorry, the 7s ayon uses pcm 1796 dacs, I thought the 5s did, 5s pcm1704.
