Hi Gammajo,Sorry I took so long to respond,Thankyou,That was very informative,have you ever owned the ayon2s?I have some questions on that unit,or have you listened to a 2s enough to answer some questions I may have?,or we can elaborate on the 5s.

Hi Gammajo,what model i/c and brand are you useing on your player?and are you useing a after market a/c cord,and what model and brand is the a/c cord?If you can describe in words,,what was the difference in sound between the stock tubes and the ones you are useing now?

Hi Gammajo,I seen your system on your virtual site,It looks like it would sound very good,How long did it take to break in your Ayon cd 5s?

The CD5s sounded very good out of the box, with dramatic opening and relaxing over first 50 hours and then subtle but significant improvement over the next 300 hours - some of the caps inside are fairly huge. Power cords do not make a huge difference with the sophisticated tube rectified power supply and dedicated lines and power conditioning as long as it is a good cord. IC - I like the best is Stagg Audiophile mic cord balanced but RCA works well with gold Silkworm IC. Needs to be well shielded with my class D amps.
