New Acurus and Aragon amps. Anyone hear them yet?

I still have my A200 and A200x3 from back in the day? I use these and the ACT3 in the bedroom as a hideaway from the wifes movie night with friends and they never gave me a problem and were great then. Wondering how Indy Audio Labs did with the brand? Thanks

I own the new Aragon 8008 by Indy Audio Labs. It seems dynamic and neutral.
Overtones and sustain, decay seem to come through well when I use this amp.
I am not technically driven but the insides are very simple, a couple of boards and four very large soda can size storage devices. Oh yea, it is a true dual mono, a heavy unit. It seems reliable and overbuilt. An updated version of
the older ones. It puts out what comes in: a garbage recording will sound like it is. A great recording, great. It does not run hot for me, just warm to the touch after some use. Absolutely no noise discernable during my use. It's a good piece of gear in my opinion.
Thanks Sunnyhop. I just got the I.A.Labs email on the launch of the Aragon amps. The closest dealer is 1.5 hours away but I'll make an appointment to check it out on Saturday if their in stock. What gear are you using if you don't mind me asking? Might be getting thrown off Audiogon for being too up front and personal with some forum geeky losers who need to make smart ass comments about a speaker question I asked and have nothing better to do so if I do buy them and I don't say thanks you'll know why. That goes for everyone who leaves a positive comment. Too bad some people ruin it for others. I'm sure it's always the same jerkoffs doing this. And they say us British Ferrari owners are snobs.
Thanks again. RG
RG,

Funny you started this thread. I was going to ask the same question to the forum. I have been using an Acurus A200 and an A200FIVE for quite some time and I just can't get enough of them. I just bought an A200x3 here on A-gon so I will be selling my A200FIVE in the near future. I only need 5 channels of amplification. I now have owned 8 Acurus amps in the last few years and all have been rock solid and reliable and plenty of power to go around.

Sunnyhop,

Good to hear from a new Aragon(IAL) owner. I know one thing, those new 8008's and Iridiums sure look like a work of art, I am sure they sound as good as they look.
