Handel's Messiah?

I'm looking for opinions on finding a well-recorded CD version of Handel's Messiah. If you've heard multiple ones, which is your favorite?

If you're looking for a non-period instrument performance, with full orchestra and chorus, then I highly recommend the Colin Davis / London Symphony Orchestra performance on Philips. .
