Best guitar explosion of all time

My vote is for Jimi's Voodoo Chile - a Slight Return! No one has come close to his majic on that recording. I am a big Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton fan and everything they have done falls short. Not for emotional involvement, or technical virtuousity, but for the finality of the perfect guitar moment. Jimi hit it on the mark - and then some!

"She's Not There" was originally released in 1964 by The Zombies.

I'm not aware of any cover by The Animals.

Won't Get Fooled Again, from Who's Next, the "yeahhhhhhh" in the last refrain just before "meet the new boss, same as the old boss." Nobody could do power chords like Pete, then or since.

I'm not sure I know what a guitar explosion is, but if you refer to extended solos, I think Duane Allman's ~several minute solo on Boz Scagg's "Lone Me a Dime" has to be mentioned.

Duane on "Loan Me a Dime" is an excellent example! Also his solos on "You Don't Love Me!" on the Allman Bros "Live at Filmore East".
