Sounds like your amp has a problem, however, just to be sure, I had this happen once with a bad connection to the power supply and an old Onkyo integrated amp. I thought at first the amp was toast but it turned out to be fine and it was the power conditioner I was using that was defective. At least try plugging directly into the wall bypassing the R Grey.
Hearing distortion ......help
Im hearing distortion that actually sounds like bad tubes and cant figure out what is causing the problem..My Arcam 36 player is brand new,the Pass labs amp was sent back to the factory and checked out ok..the Jadis pre was also sent to autorized tech and found it checked ok as well(Ive tried 6 different sets of tubes)..All ICs are new as well as the speaker cables. Two sets of speaker show same issue..Im hearing distortion on the right channel ,even with the Arcam turned off and just the pre and power on ..I hear a distortion coming from right channel,I can even see the drivers actually move with no music signal.Im using a R Grey 400 and updated power cables to all equipment...any ideas what I can try to figure this one out..thanks
