Well it seems that since I did a review on Audiogon and returned one of the
previous items offered by the seller, the seller wont sell me one of the CBF
units.
He said the same to me after I returned one of his first PE filters. Although he
has a return policy, he doesn't like returns, and apparently prefers not to sell
any more products to customers who have made returns (even though he
always claims his new products "blow away" the prior products,
and are a "leap forward").
To persuade him to sell me another of his products, I offered not to return
the new product if I didn't like it, and rather to sell it instead. I kept it.
He has a "different" way of doing business, if you ask me,
including offering a new, "you'll-be-blown-away" product every two or three
months that effectively castrates the "you'll-be-blown-away" product that
came out just three months before.
Ironically, I now have five original PE filters installed in my home that were
purchased at a deep discount from owners who were selling to upgrade
to the newer offerings.
