Upgrade for Magnum Dynalab FT101A

Remember FMS, an interconnect & speaker cable company? Many years ago there was mention in TAS & maybe Stereophile that FMS had an excellent upgrade for the 101a. I had this upgrade done on my 101a, probably in the late 1980s or early 1990s. So long ago that I could not tell you how the sound changed. I have not heard much about FMS in a while though I found a website. You might contact them for details.

I am waiting for my fully modified Magnum Dynalab FT 101 tuner that I recently purchased from Mr. Don Scott, the tuner guru! He sold the unit to me for a very reasonable price inclusive of his famous modifications. The 101 is one of his favorite modified tuners. He may be able to offer modifications to your stock MD FT 101A. His Audiogon member name is BDSCOTT. Good luck.

Hello, and thank you all for your feedback. Am going to go with MagDyn as source of upgrade, as it's a unit they know quite a bit about. Am mostly a cd listener, but there are a few stations in my area that are great on introducing new music. If I'm going to listen, I want to listen good.
