What's under your Neuance platform

I just picked up a two Neuance platforms, using them under the preamp and transport for now. I have some brightstar isonode feet I'm using under the Neuance to help isolate it from the equipment rack shelving. Has anyone found different feet changing the sonics of there Neuances vs placing direct on the shelf?

Jade, I like the bubble wrap idea, it looks like you use larger wrap than smaller, do you have a preference over larger vs smaller wrap? When inserting the Neuances it made a nice sonic improvement and I'm using four large brightstar iso-nods under the Neuance platforms. I was also thinking of using some mouse pad material or something simular cut to the size of the platform which would help to quiet the shelf the Neuances sit on.
You can purchase sorbothane sheets in a wide variety of sizes, thicknesses and softness (durometer) at mcmaster.com.

The sorbothane offers more options than the mouse pad (although a clever idea!). A 12"x12" sheet of 1/4" sorbothane will cost around $50 including shipping, and you can cut it into any sized pieces that you like.
Tvad, thanks for the info on sorbathane. I have some Audioquest sorothane feet that I don't use for anything so I'll give those a shot too. Any clue you have as to the softness (durometer) you would go with?
I have purchased 40 durometer which is slightly softer than a mouse pad. I would suggest this or perhaps the next firmer level...50 durometer. I would not go softer than 40 durometer.
My Neuance shelves were also built to replace the standard shelves on my rack. The Neuance sit on upward-facing spikes, the only way I have ever tried them.
