| The value of open space Well, I agree with Guidocorona on all points except format. Like you Chashmal, I too am a huge fan of vinyl LP's and have little or no emotional connection with music from CD's.I have several of Stockhausen's works as well as those of Edgard Varès... | |
| Which Turntable For Temporary Use/ please read Considering current pricing and what's involved in getting one of the old tables running, I'd go for the Garrard 301 oil bearing model. Cost will probably be around $1200.00 for table. Add a decent arm and you should come in under the $2000.00 mar... | |
| Sonny Rollins I'm jealous, bet it was a wonderful experience. I am a big fan of Jazz and he and Miles are among the best of the best. | |
| The right room. Pedrello,One of my best friends has a room that's about 25 wide, 38 long and 12-14 high. A very large space, and his reference speaker is a medium large three way with 13" woofer. The sound is excellent, although perhaps too low of an acoustical ou... | |

| Any new up & coming high end speaker lines? Sebastian, you have the Hansen Emperor? | |
| Raven v Walker. Colored v Accurate? Just one more small example of the murky nature of all this. In a recent listening session in a very evolved, very high end system not unfamiliar to some here, we changed out the support "cones" underneath the power supply for the motor controller... | |
| Raven v Walker. Colored v Accurate? Thanks Albert,Gosh.....I didn't even know that section existed?I don't think many people will be aware of it?Oh well.Halcro, until the last few days, it did not exist. This is obviously a new Audiogon format. I discovered this by clicking around t... | |

| Raven v Walker. Colored v Accurate? Halcro, your review is up. Perhaps the format change caused you to miss seeing it.Really nice review I might add. I wish I had the opportunity to hear the DaVinci 12" arm. I was SO close to buying it when I did my Technics rebuild and went for the... | |

| GEM Dandy Record Cleaner - Has Anyone Tried It ? Wet suit? Do you think it would be that bad? I don't know how good the guy is that reviewed the GEM Dandy, but I think I could do fine with it in our sink and create no more mess than rinsing dishes. Then again, I have not tried it. Just supporting... |
