In need of some Amplifier advice. Is therereally any point in it with my current setup?
I sent you a PM through the marketplace.  I'm in Arlington, TX, so not too far away.  I've got some ideas/advice, but I have many questions that would simply be easier via phone.

Hey Mosk, where are you located?I'm quite familiar with the Polk series and can say if you stick with that, the Halo A21 would be excellent.  The Yamaha will always have its flavor added to the sound, but adding the amp will still yield some major...
Mid-fi integrated tube amp advice
Congrats buckley!  Yaqin does not have a distributor in the US (officially) so you won't find any professional reviews.  On the flip side, that is one of many reasons why they are as cheap as they are.
Mid-fi integrated tube amp advice
Jolida favors more of a solid state sound to me. I agree with the el34 recommendation given the speakers.  Yaqin might be your best bet, but if you want something with a little more QC here in the US, check out Silk Audio.  It's basically a rebadg...

ihor, I think you missed my recommendation of that same amp two responses prior.  Regardless, that's two 'go aheads' for the Unico.
Chinese products
Quality control, attention to detail, proper design, better parts, better transformers (big one there), and better customer service and warranty work are all reasons why the higher priced units are worth it.  Quality transformers aren't cheap and ...

Inexpensive Tube Amps
For what its worth, I haven't had any experience with the hybrid designs but the Yaqin amps I've experienced (probably close to a dozen now) have all been solid for the money.  I'd still have no issue buying an all-tube Yaqin if I had a small budg...
Dood pre amp
Danny Richie might be able to help you with that.  He and Gary were close and I could be mistaken, but I think Danny was helping some people with his products.
Inexpensive Tube Amps
The lowest I would ever recommend for a tube amplifier would be Yaqin as mentioned above.  Any less and you are seriously gambling your money.  I'd also stay away from older Jolida units as they have issues with the PCB boards - I've been down tha...
Primaluna Dialogue poremium, Rogue Cronus Magnum II or Jolida 801...who can advise me?
Disclaimer - I am the distributor for MastersounD so this is likely biased. Have you considered the MastersounD BoX or Dueventi?  Both are el34 based and run in a parallel single ended configuration - a perfect fit for speakers like Tekton.  The D...
Looking for amp advice (punk, rock & reggae edition)
There are two options I have that I think would be great matches with your budget and speakers:Dayens Ecstasy III - 100 WPC integrated that offers refined sound with a natural ease to the music.  Retail is $2,200.  https://www.audiothesis.com/ecst...

Hello nitewulf,I am the US distributor for MastersounD and I came across this thread.  I wanted to introduce a possible solution for you - the BoX.  This unit will be arriving in the US shortly and boasts 35 watts per channel of single-ended goodn...
