Hifi: Glad to see I'm not the only one who had the pleasure of experiencing Crimson cables. Truly a revelation.

I've experienced the most emotional connection to music in my home with solid core wire. DNM, Crimson. Those cables beat out the Kimber Select, and Nordost Tyrs that I USED to use.

Look into the Furtech ADL GT40 USB DAC. Reviewed by Malcolm Steward in the new HiFi+. I think it's around $500. A bit more than you wanted to spend but at this price point your options become less and less.

Agree with all of the above. This is America. The guy has a business to run and he's trying to advertise to people with money. Not to mention exposing more people to audio doesn't hurt.

I would try to absorb speaker vibrations into a maple platform. Think about this: If your speakers sit on top of a hard surface (like marble), then all vibrations that your speaker produces goes down the cabinet, through the spikes, and hit the ma...

100% agree with Pubul57. My friends have the copper and silver versions. They sound very nice, but waaaayyyyyyy overpriced IMO. You should've saved some dough and got the Lightspeed. I hope you bought your MFA used...
