How much can be measured -- and how much cannot?
The froofaraw around stuff you cannot measure? The problem YES there are qualities no one has figured out how to measure. But NO the problem is others abuse this to make rediculous claims no one can podssibly verify realistically. So we get all sort...

Yup. but all is now better. The sun is shining and it is a beautiful day outside..Whoo Hoo.
20 amp power cords vs 15 amp power cords
Yeah safety listing. Who cares. The unit was purchased used. The warranty was gone.As for the legal ramifications.. go right ahead trying to scare me with insurance BS..That bugaboo is useless unless you pop in with an actual case with the state a...
banana plugs or not?
If you stick with bare wire, when you strip the insulation and retwist the wire. do NOT touch the copper with bare skin. Use either cloth or ppapaer towels only to keep your body oils/sweat/salt off copper. And monster bananas are junky anyway.Use ...
20 amp power cords vs 15 amp power cords
Ahh NO to the prior posts only because they do not mention that an IEC inlet for 15 amp (on the cord a female end with three openings vertically as seen with the rectagle flat on the long axis). and 20 amp (The IEC end female with three blade hole...
Replacing Power Cord On Flat Screen TV
What Tom6897 says.Yeah agree. Adding an aftermarket powercable to my Sony Plasma really did improve grain and color.(The Sony was a $5,000 42" Plasma back when they cost a lot...apologetics for those thinking: Sony? Plasma?)
Retail?
The price it last sold at, retail is fair.As long as the price is not for an upgraded model, it does not maatter.Since nearly everyone actually pays below list anyway, buying new.. it is just a ballpark sort of figure.(I laugh to see folks asking ...

Duped again
I 'guessed at 14 Jazz Lps today, and another dozen CDs which arrived in the mail today.I have never heard a single thing on any of them.I can say most of them are used, so the cost was way less than new.. But still i am happy to have them to be ab...
Pop noise from turntable when power-off the unit.
I never turn off the TT to change a record. Just pluck the LP off the platter.Save a LOT of wear on the switch.
Best speaker design for low to mid volume?
generally a small speaker plays at lower volumes better than a larger speaker. Not always true.. but in a broad catagory way..I like my big Magnepan 3.6 playing at low volumes..The most perfect low volume mid sized speaker is an electrostatic IMO. ...
Is it safe
Not a good idea. Thee output of one of the items connected will 'see' the output from the other as a voltage coming in..Most audio product outputs do not do so well with a strange voltage entering the output transistor. So in general no it is a bad...
Duped again
I do not understand the endless seeking for a 'better copy' of the same old stuff.Jeez, if you HAVE a copy and it plays OK, why the Holy Grail search for another copy?I buy tons of stuff, but I have never bought any item just because it was suppos...
Coconut-Audio tweeks
The tweaks he is making are a variation of a ground tweak which is rather popular in the DIY crowd.Plenty of variations on the idea. (natually each person trying to SELL them claims some miracle. And charges for the miracle too)So if you are inter...
New way of dealing with Low Ballers?
Ahh who cares. This is a non-issue. Sort of like declaring war on mosquitoes...Other than that you COULd suggest they use a jock strap?ROFLMAO!
