Acoustic Zen adagio junior or Bryston Mini T, They are substantial big for bookshelf speakers but will bring you deep strong bass  as stand floor speakers .

Opening a can of worms
After many years of changes and upgrades I ended up with all cables (interconnects, speaker’s and coax) of Tellurium Q Ultra Black ,fortunately my dealer had some second hand ones which I bought with a substantial discount, this cables are very ex...
CEC TL5 Belt Drive CD Transport
Unfortunately I will not be able to make a demo of the TL5 in advance surprisingly once I bought the Cambridge Audio CXC without much expectations from such a cheap gear the sound turn to be amazing detailed, musical and dynamic. I am not sure how...
Opening a can of worms
By making a test with 2 cables and jump to a conclusion that there is no much difference between cheap cable to more expensive one is not more than a false generalization .First, there is no necessary correlation between the cost of the cable to i...
To bi-amp B&W 802n or not
The main problem with B&W speakers is that they are very inefficient and need a lot of power to perform at its best I really dont understand why they design their speakers that way ,for me it’s a big NO for this brand.
To bi-amp B&W 802n or not
@lalitkSorry but I don’t understand how you can bi-amp with McIntosh 601’s mono,Mono is for one speaker and if you want to bi-amp speakers you need 2 mono’s for each speaker total of 4 mono’s for a pair of speakers ?
To bi-amp B&W 802n or not
Before trying bi-amp try first to change the stock jumpers of the speakers with more quality hi-end ones you will be surprise how it can improve the sound.
Audiophiles should learn from people who created audio
Those who can't 'see' the difference between cables will never admit that their hearing is not skilled/ sensitive enough It's easier for them to jump to the false conclusion that all cables are the same.
Does a new cd transport require break-in time?
I got reply from Cambridge Audio customer servise that it needs about 50 hours break-in time but my CXC was very good from the beginning and over time didn't notice any change .
looking for the best cd transport only, without dac
DVD is the worst transport option I can think of ! You have already an excellent Dac you need also a good dedicated transport and quality coax cable .
Oppo 105 and Hegel H160 DACs
Don’t bother with the Oppo,if you’re looking for serious improvement the next step is a pure CD transport such as the Cambridge Audio CXC or other one if you can afford to spend more connected with good coax cable straight to the McIntosh 5200 tha...
looking for the best cd transport only, without dac
If you auditioned the Neo260D and compared to the CXC, the differences were very subtle that's show you how good the CXC is at the same level as the Neo260D that cost many times more ! I bought the CXC as a temporary solution to my system till fun...
