New cartridge and/or tonearm for a Delphi Mk1
i recently bought a refurbished delphi mk1 with an origin live modded rega rb300 arm (with solid aluminum arm board insert), and the sound is really wonderful. incredibly natural yet incisive and rhythmic... much more organic sounding than my sign...

thanks for the thoughts on the prior postsa few comments back:- folkfreak/cleeds - we are talking about 1 mm delta on S2P distance.... it is obvious that if the actual cart alignment is off by 1 mm then that is a huge delta... but no one here is s...

wlutkeyes it occurred to me i might’ve done the mint process less than perfectlyalso reading about the 258 mm vs 259 mm pivot to spindle debacle on the vpi’s with 10/10.5 arms as it relates to the mint ... he said 259 is the standard, i measured 2... 
recommendations of phono preamps < $3000 range
my 2 cents --in analog front end it is all about finding synergy relative to your system... are you looking for ... better imaging? smoother highs? better bass or jump factor? lower noise floor? my experience:- if u have a dynavector cart u owe it...

I just got my Mint for my Classic 3 with 3D 10 arm, and spent the painstaking hour doing the proper Mint process for alignment.Relative to the VPI jig-based positioning, the Mint moved the cart (Dynavector XX2-II) forward on the headshell by ~1.5 ...

I have tried the Musical Sourroundings Phonomena Nova, Jasmine/Mockingbird LP2.5DU, Lehmann Black Cube, Dynavector P75 and Rega Aria.  I am most impressed with the Dynavector and the Rega in their respective price ranges. 
Need suggestions for a MC Cart for my VPI Prime
Try a Zyx in the price range.  Just need to use anti skate and add some add'l weight to the headshell.  They sound great...

look on ebayplenty of headshell weights, screws etc etc cheap and easy to experiment
