| Macintosh MC452 or Mark Levinson 532H Stick to same manufacturer for the amp and preamp combo. I think it will be better in the long run. Synergy does exist. | |

| Rogue Owners Unite It's probably a ground loop hum. I had something like that on the same amp (as well as many others) and a cheater plug (3 prong into 2 adapter on the AC cord) solved the issue. Try the amp first, then the preamp and so on.Good luck. | |
