| Advice from apartment dwellers how big is your room? when i lived in NYC, had no problem with small/medium floorstanders or monitors. even in my 400sf alcove studio!i put my floorstanders on Herbies decoupling/absorption discs and it attenuates bass below, bigtime. | |

| BAT VK75SE or ARC VT100 mk3 I heard the full ARC VT3 system several times- and owned the VK75SE with 6h30s.I strongly prefer BAT to ARC, but to each their own. I just find those old ARC amps really dry. The latest Ref 75 is better, though still not quite my cup of tea. | |
| Bat Rex Mono Amps with Wilson Maxx II you can't go wrong with BAT/Wilson.tube or SS is a personal choice- I prefer tube with your speakers efficiency, but some prefer SS and more bass. | |

| Amp Short List for Zu Definition Mk. IV Audion and Melody for 845. As I recall LM not a great match.For SS, Valvet and DartzeelFor P/P, Quads and maybe EAR.The Melody 845 and Dart integrateds are superb. Dont underestimate them. Lots of help available on the Def thread as well. |
