HDMI Cables
Thx-333. I'd say the consensus here is split down the middle. I think different digital cables definitely sound different based on my limited experience, including HDMI cables. May I suggest you buy a couple of cables, the Monoprice that seems to ...
Best HDMI cable for sound - your experience
Thanks for all of your replies. I bought the Audioquest Vodka cable yesterday. 10% silver wires with silver plated solid copper connectors. I don't know of a WireWorld dealer here, so would have had to order, but your recommendations got me to try...

I ended up with Arcam AVR400. Using with Monitor Audio speakers, but demo 'd it with B&W M1 and PM1 mini monitors and it just killed comparably priced NAD or Marantz IMHO. Sounded absolutely terrific with the revealing PM1's. I have longer ter...
Most enjoyable speaker you heard under $800??
If you need to operate close to the back wall, consider a used pair of Totem Arros.

Any updates on this? What are you using for your AQ Dragonfly? I am currently running the version 1.2 which I think is quite good, and am now more open on price if you have noticed a significant difference in your setup and can make a solid recomm...
On the draining of resonance.....
I think part of the reason some people say a 4" wood block sounds better than a 2" thick wood block is because the greater mass as a part of the equipment-spike-block system resists being affected by external vibration to a greater degree than the...
Arcam A49 Integrated
The current issue of Absolute Sound has a short review of the A49 that is quite positive.

Basement. We had problems with unstable fill on the building site so our basement slab now sits on top of $26,000 worth of crushed rocks. My turntable sounds great. Highly recommended. LOLkn
My stereo isn't doing it for me. Need advice
+1 for the fact that about 50% of Agon posters I have interacted with over the last ten years responded to this post within one day. +2 for the "room is the problem"+3 for the stuffed animals suggestion.+4 for the near field listening suggestion. ...
