Best treatment for speaker feet????
Stillpoints SS Ultra's, anyone have an opinion?
Why few discussion on Audio Machina CRM, CRG, CRS?
I once owned the Ultimate Monitors, which was AudioMachina's first speaker offering. Although somewhat of a niche product, I felt it was the best loudspeaker I ever owned (I preferred it over my Avalon Eidolon Diamonds within its power envelope) u...

ATC scm 19 vs ATC scm 20SL?
How can you do a driver swap without destroying how they were originally voiced? I don't want to sound too critical as I have done this very same thing with 1985 vintage ProAc's. The tweeter replacement was from the Response series (i.e. one silk ...
Let's ID Speakers with 1st order Crossover design.
I'm pretty sure that the Sonus Faber Extrema has a first order design, although as a brand I don't know what SF is doing now.

Solidstate king of immediacy for ceramic drivers ?
I have the Piano Cera with Einstein's LITD hybrid. Based on an audition of my system, Bostonbean bought the Piano Diacera and drives them with a pair of Specton Musician's (latest versions in mono). Absolutely stunning and would have no problem re...

Ramzika, I actually expect any manufacturer's website to be complimentary to one's own products. Sometimes bordering on a bit of hyperbole. Check out Wilson's advertisements in Stereophileas an example. I don't fault them one bit (whether Magico, ...

Bvidman, I had forgotten that the Piano Cera review had used the (variotuning) bass boost setting as opposed to the flat/neutral setting which users in the small to medium sized rooms will prefer. Unlike the Contriva series, the Piano series does ...

Clavil, I only attempted to point out the unfairness in comparing one design that retails for 65% more, and where one is less likely to get a discount. If I came out with a new speaker product, I would want a reviewer to compare its performance to...

I take that as a compliment to the Tidals! I also think that the Tidal might work better than the Q3 in small rooms (particularly when considering the variogain room tuning feature) but for ultimate performance the Q3 is world class at its price p...

As an owner of the Tidal Piano Cera, I have no problem with the reviewer comparing my $23,000 retail loudspeaker to the $39,000 Magico.
Tidal Speakers owners
The 2010 (and current) retail price of the Tidal Piano stands just below $23,000. I don't think the seller was deliberately misrepresenting the price, but may not have realized that there was lowering of retail prices when Tidal established new di...
