Need help identifying type or class of new tube amplifier
You should post some pictures along with pictures of the insides.  There is no tube recitifier so that raises the power output too.
Best divorce album?
The Rolling Stones - Memory Motel
Best budget integrated choices
$300 is a tough call but I recently saw some inexpensive tube integrateds on usaudiomart.  Other than that, Derek Sanderson's Fleawatt's come up from time to time and they sound great!
And B&K owners here?
No, have no idea other than what is on the website.  If you dig a bit further, the Fostex speaker used has all its own specs on a different page.  I think they are at least 90-91 db with a very benign load.  I'm hoping they will work ok with the 4...

I've temporarily downsized with a small Topping TP22 into a pair of Fostex back loaded horns from Madisound https://www.madisoundspeakerstore.com/full-range-speaker-kits/fostex-p1000-bh-4-full-range-back-load...with a small Atlantic Technology sub...

I had the Vandy 1B's a long time ago, I thought they were very pleasing sounding but not the most accurate.  I think I prefer the more accurate British 2 way monitor sound to the Vandersteens.I'm sure your Sonographe TT would still compare very fa...

Nice.  How did you like the Sonographe TT?  I had a Rega Planar 3 for many years but always liked the looks of the Sonographe.  Also, how did you like the Sound Dynamics compared to the Vandys?
Need Some Answers Building My First Home Audio System, and using Cornwalls
For fun you can try the $180 Gemtune APPJ PA1501A mini from Amazon on your speakers. At 3.5 wpc, it uses 2 - 6AD10 tubes which they are saying sound better than EL84 or 6V6 tubes. I really like EL84’s and have owned both single ended and push pull...

Bare wire to the speakers is fine, sometimes spades don't fit onto the amp or speakers and there are larger or smaller spades to fit exactly as you need it.  No problem using bare wire to your speaker or amp.
Cable elevators
I think I've said it elsewhere in one of the forums, but it's worth repeating.  Try granola bars, original oats & honey in the green box work best, with 1/2" layers of Jif peanut butter in between, 6 pieces high placed perpendicular underneath...

Boy, give my $2500-3000, I'd put together a system that just cooks McIntosh and Yamaha
Cable elevators
Ah, but what about cable escalators?  Anyone ever try them?
Tuners that do it?
Right now there are several deals on inexpensive tunas on USAaudiomart.  A Creek CAS-3140, Perreaux TU1, Quad FM4, and Denon TU800.  I liked my old Quad, although I had an earlier version of it.  Always thought the Perreaux was a very cool looking...

The EX442 is 200 into 8, 360 into 4 with 75 amps peak to peak, while the ST140 was only 105 wpc and 28 amps I think.  The EX442 just sounded much beefier.  I had them at 2 different times so I couldn't A/B them.  When I sold the EX442, I immediate...
