No.  They are ridiculously priced.   Don't use them for anything.

I hear you Joe.  I think it's an omni thing and particularly unique when done with a wide range coherent Walsh style driver.

I doubt most product specs are independently verified.  So I would never rely on published specs alone unless from a trusted source. 
FLAC vs WAV
One should becsurevwav sounds better in their specific setup before committing.  Flac played right should have no difference.  Use hardware and software designed for high quality flac streaming and you should be fine    I used wav for a few years ...

Me too.  Learned a lot.  Testing tubes and helping replace parts was par for the course.

Those were the days. 😌i bought my first "good" system there. The 40 watt integrated amp and matching tuner and the short speakers with Heil AMT.   Also Lafayette belt drive tt with Pickering cart. Not too shabby for a poor college freshman. 
So how many people are using subwoofers
If your goal is to hear it all kinda crazy not to.
