Dealers hijacking the discussions
+1 folkfreakI appreciate all the dealers and manufactures insight. I have to say that I even treat the ordinary audiophile on these threads with a grain of salt until I can tell where they are coming from. Some of the others that have posted for a...
What makes you build a system around an amplifier?
I agree with Roxy and Charles.I thought randy-11 would build around a fuse from all his posts I have seen, not a power cord.
I’d appreciate opinions from RMAF 2017 Show attendees on the Elac Adante AF61
I heard the Elac's. Nonoise mentioned them in the last show he attended and so I wanted to make sure I got a listen. Extremely good sound I thought.  Probably in the top 10% of everything that was at the RMAF for me. My preferences are for natural...
The new Synergistic Research BLUE fuses ....
Hi LakWhen I replaced the fuse in my transport with a red fuse it seemed to make the most difference. However that was a month after I had replaced my amp with a red fuse. So maybe the combination made the conduit better. And then I got another im...
Is anyone going to the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest?
Two left ears On Friday I was there. I saw and heard new speakers built in Kentucky designed and spec'd by Ryan of Vapor Audio. There sounded very good with Exogal amps.Duke Lajune of Audio Kensis had some excellent speakers driven by just a modif...
The new Synergistic Research BLUE fuses ....
+1 mapman.  I like that.
No-one talks about Rowlands anymore
+1 RoxyTo me his stuff sounds not only extremely refined but extremely musical. To me someone can put his stuff in a wide variety of systems and it will sound great musically. Rowland doesn't need us to talk about them they, are very busy. He does...
Digital Music sounds too bright?
I have used the method the OP has. The reason for me was to get a better replication of the venue the event was recorded in, better sound staging. And it worked nicely. I found a thicker blanket worked better for me.
Is anyone going to the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest?
Me for sure. I just don't know for sure when I am taking myself.  It is such a great event for so many reason for audiophiles.
Synergistic Red Fuse ...
I like my reds and one black. Really glad I got them. I have no big desire to change. Music is scintillating as of now. Not going to worry about a tiny bit better.  If I get a different component I will put a blue in it. These fuses are such a goo...
Why don't amplifier Companies use high end fuses?
+1 NonoiseOP's question- "If I were to try a fuse for fun, given my equipment, what would your recommendation be to try? "Somebody took the fun right out of his thread huh?The Padis Nonoise reccommended sounds like a good option.  I have the syner...
Maestro faceplate - does it make a difference?
I really like my maestro outlet. Made a very nice noticeable improvement all across the board.
Direction of aftermarket fuses (only for believers!)
peter-s that is what I did in the beginning and it sounded great. And noticeably or a lot better than my littlefuse’s in the three places I put the SR fuses. Good enough for me to not worry if that is the right direction. And I did put one in at a...
Thiel Owners
Thanks for you response's. That's funny on your magnepans corvette01.I will post when I get the 2.4's in the basement and start dialing them in.
Thiel Owners
Hello Thiel listenersI am excited I should receive a pair of 2.4's in about 1-2wks. There was some 3.7's listed that I thought about, but then felt it might be to much of a speaker for me, and that I couldn't go as wrong with the 2.4's in my basem...
