Primare A32 front panel-rapidly flashing standby indicator light Funny! I didn't mention it earlier, but that's how I blew mine. Switched from listening to a quiet song, forgot to turn the volume back down, the next song blasted my ears off for a few seconds. Played another song or 2 then turned it off because ...

Phonostage Okay, I've connected the TT to the Yamaha's phono-in and ground connections. I plugged RCA cables from the Yamaha's TAPE REC OUT to the Power amps R & L channels, but don't get any sound from the speakers. Then I tried connecting the Yamaha t...
Phonostage So you're saying a decent phono stage would not improve the TT's sound quality? Because then I could connect it to my main system which sounds better than the vintage Yamaha system. I thought any MM cartridge could be connected to any MM armed tu...
Phonostage addyson815May 22, 2017 13:14for that turntable, there weren't a lot of options for different cartridges. so since you really dont plan on upgrading the turnable , just use it as is. for the different sound from vinyl to what you recorded.......
For older guys Don't listen to many of the guys you mentioned for their mainstream music but I have Andy Williams, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, and the Andrews Sisters Christmas music. Two singers I do love are Nancy Wilson (the jazz singer) and Doris Day. I inher...
Primare A32 front panel-rapidly flashing standby indicator light I received my VANA fuses yesterday and the package says "6.3A Fast Acting." I'm not going to reopen my amp to put one in. I'm going to stick with the 6 amp fuse (which is a fast blow) I put in from the hardware store. When & if any others b...
Primare A32 front panel-rapidly flashing standby indicator light Thanks for the warm reception. The last mechanical tinkering I did was when I was around 8 years old. Primare A32 front panel-rapidly flashing standby indicator light audioconnection, I want to say a BIG THANKS for your recommendation to install a 5 amp fast blow fuse. Primare A32 front panel-rapidly flashing standby indicator light Good day all. I received a reply back from Vana after inquiring about the specific fuse I removed. They say they'll sell a dozen for $3.60 + shipping. Sounds like a bargain to me. I've asked for an invoice. Waiting for a response. Audioconnect...
Primare A32 front panel-rapidly flashing standby indicator light No problem, martyfriedman. The bit I used was a 6 point star. I have 6 bits in my set (all without center holes) and I used the smallest one. I only removed the tiny screws on the top and sides. No large screws. The cover just lifted off.
