| Anyone heard SONY DVD-S9000ES w/sacd Kkirkpa, have you had a chance to listen yet? I just bought a 7700 and I am at the latest point that I can trade up. I was wanting to replace Cal. audio Ikon MKII with 77700 but it just does not cut it for cds. Maybe this one will??? | |
| Tube Pre-amp beneficial? I upgraded from Conrad Johnson, Sonagraph (solid state) to CJ pv10a which is Conrads bottom dollar tube pre-amp and it gave a much warmer sound. I am running it to a Proceed hpa2 and Martin Logam Aerius i. Brand new I think they go for about $1200... | |

| Rolling Stones remasters found Exile on main street and Goats head soup. Both in jewel cases and mastered by Ludwig. Does any one know of other "rock" music he has mastered? he seems to be the one who gets it right. | |

| Is this the sound of clipping? how old is old? sounds like you might have some problems with the woofers. If an amp clips it clips the entire signal not just the lows, you will usually notice when your tweeter and mid no longer work. | |
