| Pass & Plinius Amps I have heard both but not on the same systema guess would be that in most cases, Pass would be more neutral and Plinius more 'tubelike' in tonal character. A Plinius SA100 MKIII is what I settled for, in leu of a tube amp, a few years back. | |

| Running for Dummest question EVER half speed mastered is what you are looking for. The vinyl is cut at half speed so the sound are more accurate. Good luck finding one however, I do not think they make them anymore. | |

| Do the big Maggies play LOUD I had 1.6 Maggie and used an Innersound ESL amp with 600 watts and the ability to dump lots of current and they played very loud, but you need that much power to do so.... |
