Reference DACS: An overall perspective
Exlibris and Teajay, thanks for your replies. I will be anxiously awaiting the results of your comparison, Exlibris. I am confident the move from my ML 360S to a Mark IV will be signicant. I am less so from a move from my 31.5 to the Drive 2 even ...
Reference DACS: An overall perspective
How would mating a Accustic Arts Dac 1 Mk4 with a ML 31.5 transport work out? Is this a good combo? The ML reclocks the bits to eliminate jitter as does the Accustic Arts Drive 2 according to the descriptions. Would each component lose some perfor...
Einstein "The Turntable's Choice " phonostage
Rost,Read Fremer's review in latest Stereophile. He said it maybe the most neutral and best sounding stage he's ever heard or a least in the top five. The letter from Einstein in the back was also very informative about the design criteria and rig...
Einstein "The Turntable's Choice " phonostage
Rost,I purchased the Einstein in April after corresponding and talking with a couple of owners and hearing their raves about it. They were right. It is an outstanding product. Much better than it's $5k price would suggest. Took it to a listening s...

Mark levinson audio system in Lexus?
I recently bought a Lexus LX470 with the Nav/Levinson system. Most of the cost of the system is in the superb Nav system. The Levinson portion is only about 30% of the cost. This is the first car I have owned in years that has a sound system and e...
What s wrong with Krell HTS?
Incidently, Irv Gross of Krell's Sales and Marketing Dpt., sent me a recent email stating their official policy on warranties on used equipment sales. All warranties on products mfg after 1-1-2000 would flow to subsequent owners if original purcha...
What s wrong with Krell HTS?
I have an original HTS and after looking at "upgrading" to the newest version, have decided not to do so. Too much price penalty for not much improvement. Only bypass was meaningful addition. According to Krell, who I discussed this area with in d...
