Thanks Mprime, we have a member of the Apogee speaker user forum with Apogee Mini Grands. He has used the TacT unit to tweak his system/room with fantastic results as reported by him and other members who have listened to the before and after resu...

No bias here. Room treatments that get over-all freq. response with-in even 6-8db is very good in most rooms. These room correction devices can only help even more if used correctly. Between speaker placement, seating placement, room treatments, a...
Narrowing down to JM Reynaud or VMPS...Help
Hi LarryI think that was Soliver that had that opinion, not me. I did not offer an opinion because I have not listened to the speakers you asked about. My link was to a dealer or user whom could give you a listen..there are several listed at the t...

You may want to smooth-out the bass response in your room with bass traps and then work on the other freq. to make the job more easy. Upper freq. will be very easy to deal with unless you have a reverb-chamber for a room.Dave

Mostly 75-85db at my listening position, add some refreshments to the mix and I'll crack the 90's.90db. and above is very loud in my room.Dave

Sweetness, delicacy and overall glow were all there, Pass is of the highest order in SS amps...dynamics were limited with the older model with his very hard to drive Apogees. He moved on to an digital amp..first a 250 watt (I think) eAR and is now...
Smaller speaker - bigger Woofer?
Well, the poster did say that he could live with a 48" tall speaker, he should have no problem finding a speaker that fits his needs.Small speaker with large woofer in a two way design is a problem unless as Eldartford mentioned. I did hear a pair...
