Loudspeakers have we really made that much progress since the 1930s?
Seems like a lot of discussion about drivers and slopes. How about cabinets, materials and resonances.

The Reference 3A is a great little monitor. Will fill the room and go loud, no crossover so your amp will be wired directly to the woofer/mid.

Johnk I was not responding to your comment. Not at all. Just my view on the pathetic development in speakers. Fancy metal drivers. Shiny and bright, some even zircon coated but where are the tests that these sound good, let alone better. My though...

I see a lot of companies reveling in the fact that they have really advanced drivers yet they all use mdf cabinets. No cabinet advancement whatsoever.

Tonearm mount on the plinth or on Pillar ?
Those tables are so so cool looking. Love it.. A separate pillar would give you the option of a longer arm but the larger base with the arm mount in it looks like it makes the whole base large. I want one.
