Fuses that matter.
Isochronism, I think the question is why did it leak, not why did it blow.

Were it conductive, how could one blow a fuse?
Top Ten Speakers of All Time?
I really don't think this can be done unless one adjusts for the technology at the time. I think dynamic driver technology and tweeters have greatly advanced. I have twice owned Klipsch corner horns, which have to be one of the best compromise spe...
Have you heard or own the Shakti Hallograph
At one time I had two pair of Hallographs, having heard a very convincing demonstration I think at CES. There is no question, they work. But they need to be carefully adjusted and placed. One could literally focus the sound with them. Although Syn...
How Many Turntables Have You Owned
If my recall is accurate, I've had 17 over 48 years in audio. I now am back to idler-wheel drives with the Lenco Reference Mk II. My first turntables were all idler-wheel drives before I went to direct drives, belt drives, straight line trackers, ...

Fplanner2000, I understand they are a good deal more expensive and would imagine they take even longer to breakin.
Why Don't More People Love Audio?
Years ago when I first went high end. I had three ARC pieces (SP-3, Dual 51, and Dual 75A, a Linn LP12, and a Charlie the Tuner. The sat on their own feet on wooden cabinet shelves and were plugged into a power strip and into the wall. Ics were ch...
