IMHO, just because one spends lots of money on a system does not mean it will sound good together. If you go that often to the concert hall, you should know that music does not sound as detailed as it does on your system. I sit four rows back righ...

I have never heard a so called 3d system sound anything like the real thing ever, especially when it comes to orchestral music. Anyone who frequents the concert hall will know this immediately, it is no secret. What you have with these 3d system i...
Favorite Female vocals that give you goose bumps
Shelby Lynne is not bad either. Listening to Just A Little Lovin right now and it is a great album.

I agree with you.
Pass labs x350.5 VS. McIntosh MC402
I have heard both. The 402 has huge soundstage that is very believable. The Pass is very neutral, also large stage. I would say the 402 stage to be larger, higher and deeper. The Pass is more analytical and detailed sounding. They both will excel ...

You are absolutely correct. The vinyl is getting noisy. Even the new mofi is not as quiet as the old mofi. The japanese pressings are still pretty good

They are both great in their own right. The Mac will probably have a fuller sound. That is a sound that I prefer. just a little bit different in their presentation. Things will get better in time. Mcintosh gear sounds very 3 dimensional on many sy...

Both are great, just personal preference.
Detailed sound? Real?
T Bone, I like the chairs, Dcstep - the piano lid was closed. Do we hear in stereo or Mono? Many live concerts sound like mono, not stereo other than the violins on the left and cellos and basses on the right. I have heard some systems that sound ...
