You should check out the GE 6DJ8 . I like these tubes and they will not cost you an arm and a leg. I use all GE preamp  tubes,12ax7,12at7,12au7,etc.  I like the ones from the 50's and 60's the best!

I would stay with a tube phono. But if you want to go the solid state route there is a Sutherland Insight listed here for $950. You can give that one a shot! 
Right channel makes raspy noise when playing records
Reverse the wires on the cartridge . If the right channel is still  scratching then you will know the problem is either the stylus or the cartridge.  Did you try putting the old stylus back to see if that works?

The minimum is .5 mv. I use a 1.5 mv cartridge. You should really give Mike Sanders a call and explain your situation to him. I am sure he will answer any question you have with matching it with your Naim
