Definitely agree with so many of those names that have lit up the ears over the years... I'll admit I am a little surprised that I'd get to add Will Ackerman and an all-time fav, David Lindley, to that list - both are just exceptional.

I just recently became aware of him via The Plot record by Enrico Rava. I look forward to getting into his discography. His style is kinda of an airy, kinda trippy, minimalist jazzy otherworldly deal but still swings. At last it is on the above session for the ECM label.
