Thinking to upgrade speakers

Sopra 2 or Sopra 3 ; that depends on your room size.

the ´´ HOUSE SOUND ´´ of your amplifier will be important regarding the  ´´ HOUSE SOUND ´´ of those speakers.

do you have any problems with your cat, playing with your cables or biting them ?
A well educated cat  :-)

System integration is important and the ability to drive difficult speakers makes amp selection very detailed and important.

Système integration    Amp - Speakers on an other standpoint
McIntosh has a `` house sound  (Warm )
Bryston  , Rotel  have a ``house sound ``as  well

Focal ( a bit cold ) Sonus Faber , Revel ,Harbeth  have their `` house sound ``
Someone who has a McIntosh Amp. will say Focal is the best.
We all know that Focal and McIntosh are complementary.
Someone who has a Bryston will say  Sonus Faber is the best.

So everybody can say anything and being right.
That depens on there amp ( SS or Tube )  and other things.

I have Mc 8207 power amp for my focal Chorus 836 VW
( thinking about Sopra 2 as an upgrade )
My HT processor is another brand , unfortunately.
you can buy a used McIntosh. You will not lose much when you will sell it.

I contacted McIntosh Labs support product about their capacitors .
they told me , no need for verification for 25 years.
