Tidal La Assoluta...500k speakers with accuton diamond tweeters and woofers lol.

Even the cheaper Tidal Audio Akira with a single 5" diamond woofer has some of the more impressive horizontal dispersion measurements I’ve seen.

Only one for me.  Kii Three with the BXT.  I am unaware of another choice in this particluar category option.  Anything else would be simply exploring a different flavor.  I had a ten year span where I was out of the hobby and not paying any attention to developments in the industry.  I was disappointed to find out that most improvement was quite small and the same arguments go on and on.  This product I feel is an actual step forward, not the little side steps and baby steps everyone seems to exaggerate as jaw dropping improvements.  The hyperbole in this hobby is astonishing to say the least.

Just bought my dream speakers last Spring... Magnepan 20.7  
But if I had a bigger apartment and the money, I would own MBL 101e or a used pair of Infinity IRS-V. Why not both???

I like the three I currently have (Vandersteen 5A, Von Schweikert UniField 3 Mk2, new JBL L100 Classic).  I would listen to Vandersteen 7s.  Also Focal.

while I have and love Vandersteen 7 MK2 ( and his amps...I think your discussion sort of incomplete without nailing down amps...but no matter )... and there is a rear firing tweeter for certain source material lacking spatial cues, the big MBL 101 in a massive room driven by the magical refrigerator sized AMS-100 amp certainly can be intoxicating.......

Eric - you keep mentioning the mythical rotary sub, lets get drawings / permission from Bruce to build one...what is the fan diameter ?
