Thiel Owners

Guys-

I just scored a sweet pair of CS 2.4SE loudspeakers. Anyone else currently or previously owned this model?
Owners of the CS 2.4 or CS 2.7 are free to chime in as well. Thiel are excellent w/ both tubed or solid-state gear!

yes, going from the CS2 to a CS 2.4 is quite a jump in quality from the top octave to bottom octave.  Happy Listening!

I can see both pro & con to bottom-mounted speaker terminals.

Finally, after three changes of management at Thiel since Jim and Kathy, a review in this month’s Stereophile of Thiel’s new $7K TT1 flagship. Higher order crossovers, Chinese cabinet, Norwegian or Danish drivers. The design has no apparent connection to the legacy models save the nameplate.

whom owns the Thiel name now? Is the operation still based in Nashville TN ?

We know that for the legacy models, there is still a function in Kentucky.
