Most overrated bands

For me its U2 and Foo Fighters (they look the part but their music is so dire)

oh forgot to add Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band by Beatles.  It has some great songs on it but I really think all this fuss about the album itself is really over the top and pretentious.

Perhaps some of the band criticisms here (of being overrated) could be countered or matched with names of bands whom they think are underrated and should take their place? Brittany Spears? Justin Bieber? Maroon 5?

Their O-pinions possibly attributable to a lack of historical perspective.
