When you suddenly realize....

When you suddenly realize that the world of music is at your fingertips from Tidal through your system to your ears. Pay the money. Sit back. Enjoy. CD or better quality. Albums you’ve never heard before. Endless explorations. Joy. Aren’t we incredibly fortunate?

Absolutely! Tidal with Roon is a fantastic interface. I have 3TB of music but Tidal gives me access to so much more music of CD quality that I didn’t buy and could not afford to buy. Definitely the future of music! Assembly line work of feeding a CD tray in a CD player is a thing of the distant past and you shouldn’t have to do assembly line work unless it is a paying job!
I admit that the ritual of cleaning the vinyl or CD and cueing it up is satisfying. But exploring the whole wide world of music is so exciting. And now that we have at least 16/44 resolution it rivals my hard drive of a mere 1500 CDs on the hard drive. Plus I have a second residence with its own system and in the vehicles, so Tidal goes where I go. My MacMini and NAS will get less service now. She was a constant companion for many years. But, it won’t replace vinyl, for what it’s worth.
Server that streams Radio Paradise, your CD collection at a swipe of the pinky ( is that assembly line work ? )
and Tidal is the bomb !!!!

i am listening to Valerie Carters great voice and work ( Ringing doorbells in the Rain ) on Tidal : NAIM Atom to MC240 to Vandersteen 1ci Speakers - sublime...

whats next ?????
Had Tidal for about 3 months now. Just got Roon yesterday. Absolute paradise. Now as I stare at my CD rack in the corner (about700) ,
collecting dust. I put a lot of work and money into that collection and now it seems pointless...

@audioslain02 PM me and tell me what's in that rack. I still like the little silver discs....
