All Quiet on the Oppo front?

Many Oppo fans were talking about getting their pre-ordered UDP-205's a month ago, but no new posts as to current status. I haven't heard a word. I kinda thought there would be a July release, but apparently not.

Anybody receive any news from Oppo in the past month?

I can't answer that, I am going to use the 205 for Blu Ray ONLY.

You will notice a big jump. Everything you have mentioned will add a little, to add up to a lot. Especially the balanced IC's. I say get the most expensive IC's you can afford.

Plus, don't be too surprised if Oppo comes back with an E-mail offer.

We picked up Oppo 205 from the local office on July 2.  Really happy to get it and very happy with it.  I wouldn’t give up too soon.  The earlier you put in your request, the more likely you will get one.  We put in  our email request around 7-8 April.

To any concerned:

As of today, 08/10/2018, Oppo's website states: " We are on track to receive a shipment in late August and mid-September".  "We are no longer taking E-mail requests".
